This course will take a deep dive into what it means to be a Pre-Allied Health or Pre-Nursing student at UGA. These are not majors at UGA which means these students belong to a multitude of majors so it is crucial that advisors know how to help students that are interested in pursuing a professional or graduate program in healthcare. In this course we will specifically discuss advising Pre-Nursing, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Genetic Counseling, Pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant, and Pre-Chiropractic students. I will provide you with information on how you can support these students and important advisor resources.
