Description
1 in 5 Americans will experience a diagnosable mental disorder in any given year. Considering our stressful, fast-paced, and ever changing way we work, it is highly likely that you will encounter someone in the workplace who lives with a diagnosed mental disorder. Do you know what to do if someone in your professional circle is developing or experiencing a mental health problem? This training can help. Key Course Highlights: A 4-hour training that aids on what to do with a mental health crisis; Increases participant mental health and substance use literacy; Reduces the stigma associated with mental health conditions; Elevates confidence in skillfully providing support to others within the context of company policies and procedures; Increases positive beliefs about treatment; Increases awareness and knowledge of available company and community resources.
