Each of us has multiple identities that make up who we are as individuals and shapes how we experience the world. Social location is the point where all of ones identities overlap and is expressed by who we are in relation to others, to our institutions, and to society. This course will enable participants to examine assumptions about the construction of difference and discuss barriers to and opportunities for achieving full participation toward diversity as a shared goal. This is an elective course for the Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion.
