The concept of social equity will be reviewed through personal and institutional lenses in this course. Participants will explore diverse identities to include race, gender, sexual orientation, class, nationality, ethnicity, ability (physical and mental), religion, etc. in order to better understand the factors that exist in our current social climate that may create barriers for marginalized identities.
