The Global Advisor Series allows advisors across campus to learn about the options students have to plan an individualized study abroad course for internship, independent study or research credit abroad. Departments will often have their own internal steps to evaluate or supervise an internship for direct UGA credit. However, do you know what to do when that internship or research will be conducted outside the US, how to load a course abroad, notify the Office of Global Engagement and refer a student? The presenters will not only go over the ways students and advisors can locate internships abroad, but also how to submit StudyAway Department Planning materials for UGA credit or recommend students for Non-credit Activities for Experiential Learning options.
