During a tornado warning, building occupants should seek shelter
on the lowest level of the building in an area devoid of windows and
high ceilings.
Tornado shelter areas
Pharmacy South lacks adequate 1st floor space without windows. It is possible that short warning or lack of 1st floor space will force people to attempt to shelter on higher floors.
1st floor: Both restrooms and the interior hallway between room 117 and room 131. Doors to the 135 receiving room should be closed. Additional Shelter space can be found in the hallway of the 115 Student Affairs suite, and rooms 115A, 115C, 115D, 115H.
2nd floor: It is not safe to shelter on the 2nd floor. Move to the 1st floor immediately.
3rd and 4th floors: It is not safe to shelter on the 3rd or 4th floors. Move to the 1st floor immediately.
