During a tornado warning, building occupants should seek shelter on the lowest level of the building in an area devoid of windows and high ceilings. In order to lower the risk of injury from flying debris, if possible, take a twin size mattress from the bedroom to the hallway. Lay on the floor under the mattress and stay until storm subsides.
